## VILLAGE OF MIDWAY BYLAW NO. 577 - 2025 Being a Bylaw pursuant to Section 224 of the Community Charter to exempt from taxation certain properties situated in the Village of Midway. WHEREAS, the Community Charter provides that Council may, by a bylaw, exempt from taxation certain lands and improvements; AND WHEREAS, Council deems it to be in the public interest to exempt from taxation, in the taxation years 2026 to 2029, the property set out herein; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Village of Midway, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: 1. That the following properties, being areas surrounding buildings set apart and in use for public worship, are exempt from taxation for the years 2026 to 2029, under the provisions of Section 224 (2) (f) of the Community Charter: 2. (a) Parcel B, Block 17, Plan KAP3, D.L. 501, S.D.Y.D., Portion (KJ53950) P.I.D. 023-134-763 (King of Kings New Testament Church) 3. (b) Lot A, Plan KAP40642, D.L. 377, S.D.Y.D., P.I.D. 012-917-826 (The BC Conference of the Mennonite Brethren Church) 2. This bylaw may be cited for all purposes as "Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 577-2025."
