## VILLAGE OF MIDWAY BYLAW NO. 576 - 2025
Being a Bylaw pursuant to Section 224 of the Community Charter to exempt from taxation certain properties situated in the Village of Midway.
WHEREAS, the Community Charter provides that Council may, by a bylaw, exempt from taxation certain lands and improvements;
AND WHERAS Council deems it to be in the public interest to exempt from taxation, in the taxation year 2026, the property set out herein;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Village of Midway, in open meeting assembled, enacts as
- That the following property, land or improvements owned or held by an athletic or service lub or association and used as a public park or recreation ground or for public athletic o 'ecreational purposes, is exempt from taxation under the provisions of Section 224 (2) (i) o the Community Charter:
- Held by the Boundary District Curling Club, and recorded in the Assessment Roll with 00003.075 and may further be described as situated on Lot 3, Plan KAP39672, District Lot 501, Similkameen Division Yale District, PID 011-121-840
- This bylaw may be cited for all purposes as Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 576 - 2025.
