CITY OF PITT MEADOWS FINANCIAL SERVICES FEE SETTING BYLAW NO. 3004, 2024 DM 192710v1 A bylaw to establish fees and charges for financial services WHEREAS the Council of the City of Pitt Meadows is authorized to enact a bylaw pursuant to Section 194 of the Community Charter to impose fees and charges; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Pitt Meadows enacts as follows: Citation/Title 1. This Bylaw may be cited as the "Financial Services Fee Setting Bylaw". Fees 2. The City of Pitt Meadows hereby imposes fees for the provision of financial services and information as set out in Schedule A. Effective Date 3. This Bylaw will come into force and effect as of January 1, 2025. Repeal 4. City of Pitt Meadows Administration Services Fee Setting Bylaw No. 2575, 2012 and its amendments are hereby repealed. Schedules 5. The following Schedules are attached to, and form part of, this Bylaw: a. Schedule A - Financial Fees READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD time on November 5, 2024. Requests processed via the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC. $35.00 plus an administration fee added by service provider. Tax report to financial institution $10 per folio Apportionments $30 per folio Returned payments $30.00 per item Refunds on overpayment of taxes $30.00 per item Interest on overdue accounts 2% per month Administration charge on third party Engineering Works (unless prescribed by other bylaw) 15% of invoiced amount to a maximum administration charge of $500.00
