CITY OF PITT MEADOWS PARKS, RECREATION AND CULTURE FEES AND CHARGES Bylaw No. 2935, 2023 DM 180017 A bylaw to establish Fees and Charges for Parks, Recreation and Culture Services WHEREAS a council may, by bylaw, impose fees for municipal services pursuant to Section 194 of the Community Charter; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Pitt Meadows enacts as follows: Citation/Title This Bylaw may be cited as the "Parks, Recreation and Culture Fees and Charges Bylaw". City of Pitt Meadows Bylaw No. 2010, 2001, cited as "The District of Pitt Meadows Parks & Leisure Services Fee-Setting Bylaw", and all amendments are repealed. Fees Subject to section 6, the City of Pitt Meadows hereby imposes fees for the provision of Parks, Recreation and Culture services as set out in the following Schedules which are attached to and form part of this Bylaw: a) Schedule A - Admission and Membership Fees b) Schedule B - Facility Rental Fees c) Schedule C - Park & Sports Field Rental Fees All fees are exclusive of tax, which will be added, if applicable. Fees set by this Bylaw may be subsidized or waived in accordance with parameters established by Council policy. Effective Date This Bylaw will come into force and effect on April 1, 2023. Severability If any portion of this bylaw is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, then the invalid portion must be severed and the remainder of the bylaw is deemed valid.
