BYLAW 1026, 2022
FEES AND CHARGES BYLAW
A bylaw to establish fees and charges for services
WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Princeton deem it advisable and expedient to update fees and charges
for the 2022 fiscal year;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Town of Princeton, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. That the fees and charges except annual rates paid before the dates within the bylaw be paid under the
"Town of Princeton Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 998, 2021"
2. That the fees and charges within this bylaw be enacted as of the dates listed within the bylaw.
3. That the fees and charges within this bylaw for annual rates be enacted for the year 2022.
4. That any fee that is subject to the Goods and Services Tax ("GST") or Provincial Sales Tax ("PST") be in
addition to any rate within this bylaw.
5. That, unless otherwise prescribed in the schedules to this bylaw, the fees and charges listed in this bylaw
are non-refundable once the goods have been delivered or the service has been discharged under which the
fee is prescribed.
6. that this Bylaw be cited for all purposes as the "Town of Princeton Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 1026, 2022.

A01 - Photocopies, sold by the Town to any entity, billed per page
A02 - Tax Certificate, sold by the Town to any entity, billed per request, free to registered owners by statute
A03 - NSF Cheque Fee, billed per incidence, rate is amount quoted in chart or will be billed at cost + 15%
administrative fee, whichever rate is higher
A04 - Fee to generate and print a title search as filed by the LTSA, billed per title requested

SCHEDULE "B" - Liquid Waste Fees and Charges
B01 - Septage - Charge per cubic metre upon acceptance of the operator to dispose of septic waste in
accordance with Town bylaws.
B02 - Minimum charge applicable for B01. If B01 is a lower amount, B02 is $0. If B02 is lower, B01 is $0.
B03 - Decommissioning of a sanitary sewer system, billable time for the public works employees, materials,
equipment and vehicles at Blue Book rates and any applicable subcontractor work will be billed at cost + 15%
administrative fee.
B04 - Inspection of a sanitary sewer line, billable time for the public works employees, materials, equipment and
vehicles at Blue Book rates and any applicable subcontractor work will be billed at cost + 15% administrative
fee. Fee may be waived by Chief Administrative Officer if inspection finds the Town to be at fault for damage.
B05 - B30, Annual sewerage rates are collected per annum
B31 - B56, Infrastructure Levy rates are collected per annum

SCHEDULE "C" - Waterworks Fees and Charges
C01 - Water connection installation fee, billed per hookup or disconnection, billable time for the public works
employees, materials, equipment and vehicles at Blue Book rates and any applicable subcontractor work will be
billed at cost + 15% administrative fee. A deposit of up to the total estimated cost of the fees is required to be
collected prior to the commencement of work.
C02 - Water meter installation fee, billed per hookup or disconnection, billable time for the public works
employees, materials (including water meter), equipment and vehicles at Blue Book rates and any applicable
subcontractor work will be billed at cost + 15% administrative fee. A deposit of up to the total estimated cost of
the fees is required to be collected prior to the commencement of work.
C03 - Water connection fee, billed per hookup or disconnection. Two separate fees will be charged if the
requestor asks for the water to be turned on and then turned off or vice versa. A deposit of up to the total
estimated cost of the fees is required to be collected prior to the commencement of work.
C04 - After Hours Surcharge - billed per occurrence in addition to rates charged in C01, C02 and C03 when the
fee for said services occurs between one of the three time periods:
-
between 3:30pm and 7:00am Monday through Friday, not including statutory holidays;
-
any time on weekends; or
-
any time on a statutory holiday.
C05 - Service abandonment fee, billed per disconnection occurrence, in addition to any billable time for the
public works employees, materials (including water meter), equipment and vehicles at Blue Book rates and any
applicable subcontractor work. The charge for variable costs will be billed at cost + 15% administrative fee (not
inclusive of the service abandonment fee).
C06 - Service connection for any parcel as listed in Town of Princeton East Princeton Water System Parcel Tax
Bylaw No. 831, 2010.
C07 - Service connection for any parcel as listed in Town of Princeton Jacobson Road Water System Parcel
Tax Bylaw No. 832, 2010.
C08 - Service connection for any parcel as listed in Town of Princeton Airport Road Water System Parcel Tax
Bylaw No. 830, 2010.
C09 - Fee for permit to connect to the Town's water system for bulk use of Town water in accordance with
Section 9 of the Town of Princeton Water Regulations Bylaw No. 897, 2020. A deposit of up to the total estimated
cost of the fees in C09, C10 and C111 is required to be collected prior to the granting of a permit.
C10 - Charge per cubic metre of water used when connected to the Town's water system for bulk use of Town
water in accordance with Section 9 of the Town of Princeton Water Regulations Bylaw No. 897, 2020
C11 - In addition to the permitting and water usage fees billed in C09 and C10 listings, any billable time for the
public works employees, materials (including water meter), equipment and vehicles at Blue Book rates and any
applicable subcontractor work will be billed out in addition to the fees listed in C09 and C10
C12 - Minimum charge of the annual fee levied in C13 through C21 and B05 through B56 if the annual charges
are prorated due to installation during a billing year. The minimum charge will be divided between water and
sewer systems according to the ratios allocated to the annual charge before the prorating.
C13 - Metered rate is calculated per cubic metre and billed according to the Town of Princeton Utility Billing
Bylaw No. 1002, 2021.
C14 to C16 - Alternate annual fee is collected per annum for residential properties and non-residential properties
exempted from metered water rates by Council.
C17 - Billed per annum according to the Town of Princeton Utility Billing Bylaw No. 1002, 2021.
C18 to C21 - Billed per annum according to the Town of Princeton Infrastructure Levy Bylaw No. 958, 2019.

SCHEDULE "D" - Public Works Fees and Charges
D01 - General Public Works charge out rates, billable time for the public works employees, materials, equipment
and vehicles at Blue Book rates and any applicable subcontractor work will be billed at cost + 15% administrative
fee. A deposit of up to the total estimated cost of the fees is required to be collected prior to the commencement
of work.
D02 - Minimum charge for snow plowing as a billable project. Billing is charged per hour. Only D01 or D02 will
be charged for each individual project, whichever rate yields a higher rate.
D03 - Minimum charge for street sweeping as a billable project. Billing is charged per hour. Only D01 or D03
will be charged for each individual project, whichever rate yields a higher rate.
D04 - Minimum charge for road salting or sanding as a billable project. Billing is charged per hour. Only D01
or D04 will be charged for each individual project, whichever rate yields a higher rate.
D05 - Minimum charge for salt and/or sand when used as a part of a billable project. Can be combined with
D01, D02 and D04 rates if the cost of the salt and/or sand of the project is less than the posted rate for D05.
D06 - Minimum charge for work done to private property as a billable project when performed as per the
Princeton Property Maintenance Bylaw No. 523, 1988. Billing is charged by the project. Only D01 or D06 will
be charged for each individual project, whichever rate yields a higher rate.
D07 - Any public works project that happens during the following hours will be issued the surcharge listed in
addition to any other fees in Schedule "D" as appropriate:
-
between 3:30pm and 7:00am Monday through Friday, not including statutory holidays;
-
any time on weekends; or
-
any time on a statutory holiday.

SCHEDULE "E" - Building Permits
E01 - Building permit plan processing fee levied as the rate for a building permit processing fee as detailed in
Section 10.7 of the Town of Princeton Building Bylaw No. 976, 2020. Rate is collected per permit. The amount
collected is non-refundable once the building permit has been issued.
E02 - Building Permit Fee levied as the rate for a building permit fee as detailed in Section 10.7 of the Town of
Princeton Building Bylaw No. 976, 2020. Rate is collected as a measure of the charge per $1,000 of building
permit value using the appendix listed in Schedule "E" of this bylaw. The two charges in E01 and E02 satisfy
the building permit fee in Section 10.7 of the the Town of Princeton Building Bylaw No. 976, 2020. The amount
collected is non-refundable once the building permit has been issued.
E03 - Building Relocation Fee levied as the rate for a building permit fee as detailed in Section 10.7 of the Town
of Princeton Building Bylaw No. 976, 2020. Rate is collected as a measure of the charge per $1,000 of building
permit value using the appendix listed in Schedule "E" of this bylaw. Only the larger value of E01 or E03 is
charged as the cost of the building permit.
E04 - Demolition Permit Fee levied as the rate for a building permit fee as detailed in Section 10.7 of the Town
of Princeton Building Bylaw No. 976, 2020. Rate is charged per permit.
E05 - Voluntary reinspection fee levied as the rate for a building permit fee as detailed in Section 10.44 of the
Town of Princeton Building Bylaw No. 976, 2020. Rate is charged per individual inspection as detailed in Section
10.44.
E06 -. Permit extension fee levied as the rate for a building permit fee as detailed in Section 10.26 of the Town
of Princeton Building Bylaw No. 976, 2020. Rate is charged per approved transfer. This fee is non-refundable
once the transfer is granted and registered.

SCHEDULE "F" - Business License Fees
F01 - Resident Business License levied as the rate for a business license to a resident of the municipality as
detailed in Section 9.1 of the Town of Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No. 914, 2016. The
fee is the default rate charged if no other license fee is applicable under any other definition listed below,
notwithstanding fees that are listed as additional to the business license. The fee is charged as an annual rate
in accordance with Section 4 of the Town of Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No. 914, 2016.
F02 - Liquor Primary Charge levied as the rate for a business license as detailed in Section 4.1 of the Town of
Princeton Zoning Bylaw No. 880, 2013 and the various amendments to that bylaw. The fee is charged as an
annual rate in accordance with Section 4 of the Town of Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No.
914, 2016. This fee includes the business license as described in F01 and F04.
F03 - Farmers/Crafters Market levied as the rate for a business license as detailed in Section 8 of the Town of
Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No. 914, 2016. The fee is charged as an annual rate in
accordance with Section 4 of the Town of Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No. 914, 2016.
F04 - Non-Resident Business License levied as the rate for a business license to a non-resident of the
municipality as detailed in Section 9.1 of the Town of Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No. 914,
2016. The fee is charged as an annual rate in accordance with Section 4 of the Town of Princeton Business
License and Regulation Bylaw No. 914, 2016.
F05 - Seasonal License levied as the rate for a business license as detailed in Section 9.1 of the Town of
Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No. 914, 2016. The fee is charged as an annual rate in
accordance with Section 4 of the Town of Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No. 914, 2016.
F06 -. Special Events License levied as the rate for a business license as detailed in Section 9.1 of the Town of
Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No. 914, 2016. The fee is charged as a daily rate and charged
per event in accordance with Section 4 of the Town of Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No.
914, 2016.
F07 - Inter-Municipal License levied as the rate for a business license as detailed in the Town of Princeton Inter-
Community Business License Bylaw No. 816, 2009 and amended by the Town of Princeton Inter-Community
Business License Amendment Bylaw No. 972, 2020. The fee is charged as an annual rate and in addition to the
fee charged in F01 or F04 section of this bylaw.
F08 - Street Vendors Application Fee levied as the rate for a business license as detailed in Section 9.1 of the
Town of Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No. 914, 2016. The fee is charged per application
and is in addition to any fees detailed in F09, F10 and F11 of this bylaw.
F09 - Street Vendors Business License levied as the rate for a business license as detailed in Section 9.1 of the
Town of Princeton Business License and Regulation Bylaw No. 914, 2016. The fee is charged as a monthly rate
and is in addition to the application fee levied in F08 of this bylaw and replaces the fee charged for a F01 or F04
rate under this bylaw.
F10 - Street Vendors Business License levied as the rate for a business license as detailed in Section 9.1 of the

Schedule "G" - Princeton Municipal Campground User Fees
G01 - RV Site, Riverside, Weekend is defined as the maximum fee for a one night rental of a campground pad
capable of supporting a recreational vehicle at the Princeton Municipal Campground if the pad rented is located
on a site that fronts the Similkameen River. Included with the rent is electrical service, water and sewer as
available, if the site is rented on a Friday night, Saturday night or the night before a statutory holiday.

G07 - Monthly rate is defined as the maximum fee for a thirty night rental of any site described in and replacing
the fees of G01 through G05 of this bylaw.
G08 - Sani-dump is defined as the maximum fee for use of the sani-dump at the Princeton Municipal
Campground if no rental has been purchased as described in fees of G01 through G07 of this bylaw.
G09 - Extra vehicle is defined as the maximum fee for an excess of vehicles parked at the Princeton Municipal
Campground. The number of vehicles able to be parked on one pad is at the discretion of the manager of the
Princeton Municipal Campground. Extra vehicle charges are in addition to any other rate described in this bylaw.
G10 - Reservation is defined as the maximum fee for the service of booking a campground, whether electronic
or through the phone in advance at the Princeton Municipal Campground. Reservation charges are in addition
to any other rate described in this bylaw.
G11 - Change Reservation is defined as the maximum fee for the service of changing the booking a
campground, whether electronic or through the phone in advance at the Princeton Municipal Campground.
Change Reservation charges are in addition to any other rate described in this bylaw.
G12 - Internet Service is defined as the maximum fee for the service of using Town Internet services at the
Princeton Municipal Campground. Internet service fees are in addition to any other rate described in this bylaw.
Other definitions without fee or charge:
Refunds - Reservation Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Camping fees only, are refundable up
to 14 days prior to your arrival date. No refund will be provided less than 14 days prior to your arrival date. No
refund will be given for reducing the number of nights reserved.
No Show Policy - All reservations are held until 10:00 pm of the day user is scheduled to check-in. If the site is
not claimed in person by 10:00 pm, the site is considered forfeited and no refund will be provided.
Reservations Booked for Friday or Saturday Night - a two (2) night minimum charge applies for any
reservation on a Friday or Saturday night.
Long Weekends - a three (3) night minimum charge applies to all long weekend bookings.

Control Bylaw No. 782, 2006 and its subsequent amendments if the dog's owner has documentation of the dog
being spayed or neutered as listed under Section 11 of the Town of Princeton Animal Control Bylaw No. 782,
2006. The fee charged shall be levied annually.
H02 - Unspayed or Unneutered Dog is defined as in Part Three of the Town of Princeton Animal Control Bylaw
No. 782, 2006 and its subsequent amendments if the dog's owner has no documentation of being spayed or
neutered as listed under Section 11 of the Town of Princeton Animal Control Bylaw No. 782, 2006. The fee

Fire Department Bylaw No. 997, 2021. This fee will be levied annually, will be applicable to any building located
outside the Town's boundary but within the Fire Protection District as per agreement with the applicable Local
Government responsible for the property in question. The Fire Chief will be required to submit an estimate of
the cost of the inspection plus a 15% administrative fee to the building owner before the inspection is completed.

SCHEDULE 'I' - Planning and Development Fees
I01 - Proposed amendment, OCP is levied for an application to amend the Town of Princeton Official
Community Plan Bylaw No. 808, 2008 or the subsequent amendments to the bylaw. The fee is levied per
application and is subject to the notes at the bottom of this schedule.
I02 - Proposed amendment, Zoning Bylaw is levied for an application to amend the Town of Princeton Zoning
Bylaw No. 880, 2013 or the subsequent amendments to the bylaw. The fee is levied per application and is
subject to the notes at the bottom of this schedule.
I03 - Proposed amendment, OCP & Zoning Bylaw is levied for an application to amend both the Town of
Princeton Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 808, 2008 or the subsequent amendments to the bylaw and the
Town of Princeton Zoning Bylaw No. 880, 2013 with the same application. This fee replaces the two separate
fees levied for I01 and I02. The fee is levied per application and is subject to the notes at the bottom of this
schedule.
I04 - Development Permit is defined under Section 12.0 of the Town of Princeton Subdivision and

I08 - Board of Variance Application Fee is levied for an application to amend the Town of Princeton Zoning
Bylaw No. 880, 2013 or the subsequent amendments to the bylaw if an application requires approval of the
Board of Variance. The fee is levied per application, is in addition to the fees levied under I02 and is subject to
the notes at the bottom of this schedule.
I09 - Temporary Use Permit - A development permit is defined under Section 12.0 of the Town of Princeton
Subdivision and Development Servicing Bylaw No. 996, 2021. This permit is for a limited amount of time. The
fee is charged per application.
I10 - Application Fee for Development 1 is levied for an application for development services as defined in the
Town of Princeton Subdivision and Development Services Bylaw No. 996, 2021. The fee is charged as a flat
rate for a subdivision into 2 lots only The fee is charged per application.

I21 - Application Fee for Development 7 (Base Fee) is levied for an application for development services as
defined in the Town of Princeton Subdivision and Development Services Bylaw No. 996, 2021. The fee is
charged as a flat rate for a subdivision into more than 40 lots The fee is charged per application and is in
addition to the fees charged for I21.
I22 - Application Fee for Development 7 (Fee per Unit) is levied for an application for development services as
defined in the Town of Princeton Subdivision and Development Services Bylaw No. 996, 2021. The fee is
charged per unit in excess of 40 lots for a subdivision into more than 40 lots. The fee is charged per
application and is in addition to the fees charged for I20.
Notes:
The application fee for development services applies to the final number of lots in respect to an
application to subdivide lots, the initial number of lots in respect to a consolidation of lots and the final
number of strata lots in respect to an application for registration of a strata.
Development Agreements will set out inspection fees equal to 3% on the first $500,000; 2% on the
second $500,000; and 1% on the balance over $1,000,000 of the estimated cost of constructing utilities
and roads required for the new subdivision as deemed satisfactory by the staff member responsible for
infrastructure.
The number of lots is defined as the number of lots indicated on the final subdivision plan, including
those that may have been previously built upon.
A refund of 50% of fees listed in Schedule "I" will be provided if a written request is received from the
applicant prior to advertising.
Any customary disbursements required to planning and development fees (advertising, legal and land
titles fees, contracted planning services, postage, etc) will be billed to the proponent at cost.

SCHEDULE 'J' - Landfill Regulatory and Tipping Fee Bylaw
J01 - General Refuse Charge is defined under Section 7.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743,
2002 and its subsequent amendments. The fee is charged per 1000 kg (metric tonne) of refuse. The fee listed
is the default charge and is charged unless another fee supersedes this fee under this schedule.
J02 - General Refuse Charge is defined under Section 7.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743,
2002 and its subsequent amendments. The fee is charged as a flat rate per landfill visit. The fee replaces J01
if the calculation of the fee in J01 is less than J02.
J03 - Compostable Waste under 250 kg is defined under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw
No. 743, 2002 and its subsequent amendments. The fee is charged per day and is in replacement of J05 up to
the weight restriction given. If this rate is applicable, it replaces the rate charged under J01.
J04 - Noxious Weeds and/or Infested Vegetation is defined under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District
Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its subsequent amendments. The fee is charged per day and is in
replacement of J05 regardless of the weight of the load. If this rate is applicable, it replaces the rate charged
under J01.
J05 - All other Compostable Waste is defined under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No.
743, 2002 and its subsequent amendments. The fee is charged per visit after any credit is received for J03
and J04. If this rate is applicable, it replaces the rate charged under J01.
J06 - Construction Waste, Demo Permit is defined as Solid Waste under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District
Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its subsequent amendments. Any materials that come from a construction
site is charged under this rate as an exception to J01. This rate is valid if a Town of Princeton construction
permit is presented before dumping. The fee is charged per visit. If this rate is applicable, it replaces the rate
charged under J01.
J07 - Construction Waste, General is defined as Solid Waste under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District
Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its subsequent amendments. Any materials that come from a construction
site is charged under this rate as an exception to J01. All construction materials dumped using this fee require
approval of the Director of Infrastructure or the Chief Administrative Officer before dumping takes place. The
fee is charged per visit. If this rate is applicable, it replaces the rate charged under J01.
J08 - RDOS Garbage Tag is defined as Solid Waste under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill
Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its subsequent amendments. All garbage must be bagged and accompanied by the
proper ticket issued by the Town or must be transported by vehicle and accompanied by the proper ticket
issued by the Town to use this rate. The rate is used for household garbage only in accordance with the
Shared Services Agreement. J01 and J19 will be charged if the load is a mixed load. If this rate is applicable,
it replaces the rate charged under J01 and is charged per use.
J09 - Recyclable Waste is defined as under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743,
2002 and its subsequent amendments. This rate is the default rate for recyclable waste unless replaced under
a specific exemption in this bylaw. If this rate is applicable, it replaces the rate charged under J01 and is
charged per use.
J10 - Clean Soil is defined as under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its
subsequent amendments. This rate is charged per unit and per visit and replaces J09 for any amount
provided. Dumping under J10 requires approval from the Director of Infrastructure or the Chief Administrative
Officer prior to dumping.
J11 - Propane Tank is defined as under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002
and its subsequent amendments. This rate is charged per unit and per visit and replaces J09 for any unit
provided.
J12 - Tires 1 is defined as under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its
subsequent amendments. This rate is charged per unit for any tire up to 24.5" in diameter with the rims
removed up to a maximum of 10 tires per day. This fee is charged per unit disposed and replaces J09 for any
unit provided.
J13 - Tires 2 is defined as under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its
subsequent amendments. This rate is charged per unit for any tire up to 24.5" in diameter with the rims
attached up to a maximum of 10 tires per day. This fee is charged per unit disposed and replaces J09 for any
unit provided.

J14 - Tires 3 is defined as under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its
subsequent amendments. This rate is charged per unit for any tire not charged under J11 and J12. This fee is
charged per unit disposed and replaces J09 for any unit provided.
J15 - Refrigeration Unit is defined as under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002
and its subsequent amendments. This rate is charged per unit for any unit that has not had the refrigerant
removed. If the refrigerant has been removed, the unit is charged under J09.
J16 - Mattress is defined as under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its
subsequent amendments. This unit may be charged under other fee structures if the mattress is completely
separated, and its separated parts can be recycled and disposed of under another fee structure. A mattress
and a box spring set are considered two separate items for the purpose of this fee. This fee is charged per unit
and replaces J09 for any unit disposed.
J17 - Couch is defined as under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its
subsequent amendments. This unit may be charged under other fee structures if the mattress is completely
separated, and its separated parts can be recycled and disposed of under another fee structure This fee is
charged per unit and replaces J09 for any unit disposed.
J18 - Hot Tub Shell is defined as under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002
and its subsequent amendments. This fee is charged per unit and replaces J09 for any unit disposed.
J19 - Hot Tub Motor is defined as under Section 3.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002
and its subsequent amendments. This fee will be charged under J09 if the motor has been removed and can
be defined by the bylaw as metal waste. This fee is charged per unit and replaces J09 for any unit disposed.
J20 - Mixed Loads is defined under Section 7.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its
subsequent amendments. The fee is charged per 1000 kg (metric tonne) of refuse. At the discretion of the
landfill user, the user has the ability to take several trips between the scale and the dump area to pay the
constituent rates for each class of refuse. The fee listed replaces J01 at the discretion of the landfill operator if
the landfill user refuses or is unable to separate the types of refuse.
J21 - Uncovered or Unsecure Loads is defined under Section 7.1 of the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No.
743, 2002 and its subsequent amendments. The fee also covers hazardous materials as per Section 3.1 of
the Princeton & District Landfill Bylaw No. 743, 2002 and its subsequent amendments. The fee is charged per
1000 kg (metric tonne) of refuse. The fee listed replaces J01 at the discretion of the landfill operator. The
landfill operator, at his discretion, may refuse any load that he deems unsafe until the landfill user covers or
secures the load enough for safe disposal.

K01 - Grave Space, Resident is defined at Section 4.02 of the Town of Princeton Cemetery Administration
Bylaw No. 857, 2011 or its subsequent amendments to inter a full body burial. The person must be a resident
as defined per Section 2 of the Town of Princeton Cemetery Administration Bylaw No. 857, 2011. This fee is
subject to have an amount transferred to the Princeton Cemetery Care Trust Fund in accordance with
regulations set out in the Cremation, Interment and Funeral Services Act of British Columbia at the owner's
expense. The fee will be charged per grave space.
K02 - Grave Space, Non-Resident is defined at Section 4.02 of the Town of Princeton Cemetery
Administration Bylaw No. 857, 2011 or its subsequent amendments to inter a full body burial. The person must
be a non-resident as defined per Section 2 of the Town of Princeton Cemetery Administration Bylaw No. 857,
2011. This fee is subject to have an amount transferred to the Princeton Cemetery Care Trust Fund in
accordance with regulations set out in the Cremation, Interment and Funeral Services Act of British Columbia
at the owner's expense. The fee will be charged per grave space.
K03 - Cremation, Resident is defined at Section 4.02 of the Town of Princeton Cemetery Administration Bylaw
No. 857, 2011 or its subsequent amendments to inter cremated remains. The person must be a resident as
defined per Section 2 of the Town of Princeton Cemetery Administration Bylaw No. 857, 2011. This fee is
subject to have an amount transferred to the Princeton Cemetery Care Trust Fund in accordance with
regulations set out in the Cremation, Interment and Funeral Services Act of British Columbia at the owner's
expense. The fee will be charged per cremated space.
K04 - Cremation, Non-Resident is defined at Section 4.02 of the Town of Princeton Cemetery Administration

regulations set out in the Cremation, Interment and Funeral Services Act of British Columbia at the owner's

K05 - Grave Preparation, Adult is defined at Section 7.01 of the Town of Princeton Cemetery Administration
Bylaw No. 857, 2011 or its subsequent amendments for full body burials of a deceased aged 19 years or older.
The fee will be charged per occurrence.

Bylaw No. 857, 2011 or its subsequent amendments for exhumation of remains after a full body burial of a
deceased aged 18 years or less. The fee will be charged per occurrence.
K10 -Exhumation, Cremation is defined at Section 7.01 of the Town of Princeton Cemetery Administration
Bylaw No. 857, 2011 or its subsequent amendments for exhumations of remains after a cremation service. The

K11 - Grave Liners, Adult is defined at Section 6.11 of the Town of Princeton Cemetery Administration Bylaw

L01 - Fuel defined as airport fuel sold at the Princeton Municipal Aerodrome. The fee shall be charged per
litre and calculated as the cost of the fuel plus 25% for an administrative charge.

events, or any other recreation event that charges a standard admission rate. The fee is charged as an
hourly rate. This fee replaces rates for admission for the adults and children that would otherwise use the
M03, M04, and M06 rates.
M23 - Junior Hockey 1 is defined as the rental rate charged for junior hockey activity between July 1 and
September 15 to organized non-profit groups based in the Town of Princeton or Area H of the Regional

Princeton or Area H of the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen for the purposes of a regular
season of play. The fee listed is based on an annual rate.
M25 - Junior Hockey 3 is defined as the rental rate charged for junior hockey activity for any post-season
activity to organized non-profit groups based in the Town of Princeton or Area H of the Regional District
of Okanagan-Similkameen. The fee listed is based on an hourly booking with a minimum charge of one
hour.
M26 - Mezzanine 1 is defined as the rental rate charged for the rental of the mezzanine of the Princeton
& District Arena if the arena is booked under M18 or M20. The fee is in addition to any rate charged for
M18 and M20. The fee listed is based on the same time period as the booking for M18 or M20. This fee
replaces the fee charged under M27.
M27 - Mezzanine 2 is defined as the rental rate charged for the rental of the mezzanine of the Princeton
& District Arena. The fee listed is based on an hourly booking with a minimum charge of one hour. This
fee is the default fee charged for the mezzanine at the Princeton & District Arena unless replaced by
another rate.
M28 - Mezzanine 3 is defined as the rental rate charged for the rental of the mezzanine of the Princeton
& District Arena. The fee listed is based on an daily booking. This fee replaces the fee charged under

M29 - Skate Sharpening 1 is defined as the service provided to sharpen skates. The fee listed is based
