CITY OF TRAIL TRAIL MUSEUM AND ARCHIVES FEES AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 2849, 2018 Comprising a consolidation of the Trail Museum and Archives Fees Amendment Bylaw No. 2849, 2018 and the following amendments thereto: Effective Date Bylaw No. 2962 September 8, 2025 Consolidated for convenience purposes. Page 2 A BYLAW TO IMPOSE FEES AND CHARGES IN RESPECT OF THE TRAIL MUSEUM AND ARCHIVES SERVICES WHEREAS pursuant to the Community Charter, the Council of the City of Trail may, by bylaw, set fees in respect to all or part of a service of the City of Trail, or for the use of property of the City of Trail; WHEREAS the Council of the City of Trail deems it expedient to impose fees for the provision of its museum and archives services; NOW THEREFORE, Council of the City of Trail, in open meeting assembled, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. That this Bylaw may be cited as the "Trail Museum and Archives Fees Bylaw No. 2849, 2018". 2. That the following fees and charges be levied for the services as noted: Photocopies from textual records, photographs, newspapers: 8.5" x 11" or 8.5 x 14" $0.25/page 11" x 17" $0.50/page Photographic Reproduction Charges: DIGITAL FILE Scanned from negative, photograph print, textual document or 35 mm transparency Standard Resolution 300 dpi @ 8" x 10" digital file (.jpg) $12.00 per image Custom High Resolution Custom high resolution dpi (.tiff or.jpg digital file) $30.00 per image PRINTS Scanned from negative, photograph print, textual document or 35 mm transparency Print from Scan 5" x 7" photographic reprint $10.00 per image 8" x 10" photographic reprint $12.00 per image 11" x 14" photographic reprint $60.00 per image 16" x 20" photographic reprint $100.00 per image Conference Room Rental Rate $25.00 non-profit rate (inclusive of equipment) Research $30.00/hour after first 10 minutes Use Fees $10.00 per image (for use in commercial publication, website, merchandise) Video Production Actual production cost plus research fee Bylaw 2962 Page 3 READ the FIRST, SECOND and THIRD time the 16th day of July, 2018.
