VILLAGE OF VALEMOUNT
FEES AND CHARGES BYLAW NO. 869, 2023
A Bylaw to establish fees and charges for various municipal services
The Community Charter authorizes municipalities by bylaw to impose fees in respect of a
service of the municipality or provision of information; and,
The Council of the Village of Valemount deems it desirable to consolidate fees and
charges, levied for various services, within a single bylaw for convenience;
THEREFORE, the Council of the Village of Valemount, in open meeting assembled,
enacts as follows:
1. CITATION
1.1
This bylaw may be cited for all purposes as "Village of Valemount Fees and
Charges Bylaw No. 869, 2023".
2. REPEALS
2.1
Village of Valemount Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 699, 2013, and all
amendments thereto are hereby repealed.
3. GENERAL PROVISIONS
3.1
Fees charged by the Village of Valemount for various goods and services
shall be in accordance with the requirements of Schedules 'A' through 'D'
attached hereto and forming part of this bylaw.

Permit fees and charges shall be paid to the Village of Valemount at issuance of the Permit and shall be
calculated on the total value of the work as follows;
