THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF VERNON
BYLAW NUMBER 6044
A bylaw to amend the City of Vernon "Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw Number 6016,
2024"
WHEREAS it is the intention of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Vernon to amend the
City of Vernon Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw Number 6016, 2024.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the City of Vernon, in open meeting
assembled, enacts as follows:
1.
This bylaw may be cited as the City of Vernon "Permissive Tax Exemption
Amendment Bylaw 6044, 2025".
2.
Schedule "A" of the City of Vernon Tax Exemption Bylaw Number 6016, 2024 is
amended in the following manner:
A. Amend to Delete the following shown in RED on attached Schedule "A":
i. Faith Baptist Church - 3909 28 St
ii. North Okanagan Community Life Society - 5813 Richfield Pl
iii. Vernon Science and Discovery Centre Society (City of Vernon) - 2704
Hwy 6
B. Amend to Add the following shown in RED on the attached Schedule "A":
i. North Okanagan Friendship Center Society - 2905 28 Ave
ii. North Okanagan Development Corporation - Units 1-3 4408 25 St
iii. North Okanagan Development Corporation - 4 Properties at 3105 33 St
iv. Vernon Upper Room Mission Society - 3407 27 Ave

C. Amend to Update for housekeeping changes shown in RED on the attached
