## Town of Churchill By-Law Number 808/2023
BEING A BY-LAW OF THE TOWN OF CHURCHILL TO AMEND THE TOWN OF CHURCHILL ZONING BY-LAW NO. 714/01, AS AMENDED
WHEREAS The Planning Act of Manitoba provides authority for municipalities to initiate an amendment to a Zoning By-Law;
WHEREAS The Council of the Town of Churchill deems it necessary to amend ByLaw No. 714/01, being the Town of Churchill Zoning By-Law
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Churchill in regular session duly assembled enacts that the Town of Churchill Zoning By-Law No. 714/01, be amended as follows:
That Part 2, "Definitions", is hereby amended by adding the following definitions:
Lodges and Private Clubs - means a building or part thereof used for social, literary, cultural, political, educational, or recreational purposes which is operated for the exclusive use of members and their guests and not open to the general public, on an equal basis.
Boarding or Lodging means a building where lodging, or lodging and meals are provided to a limited number of boarders per building. It includes such uses as bed and breakfasts, short-term stays, and cabin and vacation rentals, but does not include a hotel or motel.
That Part 5, Table 3, - "Commercial and Industrial Uses and Bulk Requirements", is hereby amended by adding "Boarding & Lodging" as a "Conditional Use" in the "C" Commercial Zone.
That Part 5, Table 3, - "Commercial and Industrial Uses and Bulk Requirements", is hereby amended by adding the following bulk requirements for Boarding & Lodging in areas zone "C" Commercial Zone.
