Gilbert Plains Municipality Campground & Covid-19
The Gilbert Plains Municipal Council is with all due respect looking forward to opening
up our campground for camping and summer enjoyment. We will follow the guidelines,
procedures and processes as set out by the Province of Manitoba. The safety of our
employees, campers, visitors to our community and fellow citizens will continue to be a
concern and our number one priority.
Therefore when the Province of Manitoba will allow campgrounds to officially open up to
the public for the 2020 summer camping season, the Gilbert Plains Municipality will:
Not be opening up the wading pool;
Not be opening up public washrooms to campers or to the public at large;
Not be opening up the campground kitchen facility to campers or the public at
large;
The use of the children's playground will be at the discretion of all parents and/or
adults.
All social distancing practices as per Provincial standards will continue to be in effect.
This standing policy is subject to change as circumstances arise and when Provincial
standards are changed.
Fees will remain unchanged.
