The Gilbert Plains Municipality owns and operates two municipal dugouts with wells and pumping stations being a part off. These dugouts are owned and operated by the municipality for the municipality. They were developed to serve and supply an alternate source of water for the citizens and rate payers of the Gilbert Plains Municipality. Therefore this water supply must be protected and is available only to citizens and rate payers of the Gilbert Plains Municipality and; Therefore both dugouts are to be properly maintained, fenced and kept clear of all debris that may negatively impact the quality of the water. It is illegal for anyone to enter the sites with any chemical, seed treatment or substance that mat contaminate the water either directly or by means of run off as well as absorption through the ground. 1. For Municipal Rate Payer Use Only 2. No dumping of Chemicals, Treated Grains or Pesticides of any kind. These items are not to be present on the vehicle while loading water at these sites. 3.
