## THE TOWN OF GRANDVIEW ## BY-LAW NO. 7-2001 A by-law of the Town of Grandview relating to public order. WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Grandview deems it necessary to pass a by-law relating to the matter of public order within the limits of the Town of Grandview; ## NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF GRANDVIEW, IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: - the following:- - (a) sound emanating from any vehicle of the police or fire department, ambulance or any public service or emergency vehicle; - (c) notwithstanding the time limits as mentioned in Section 1 above, any member of the RCMP, within the Town of Grandview may, at any time, charge a person who is creating a noise liable to disturb or annoy residents of the Town of Grandview with an offence under this by-law - (b) sound emanating from snow clearing, road maintenance, garbage collection, or any other vehicle of the Town providing regularly scheduled work of an emergency nature; - . Any person convicted of a breach of any of the provisions of this y-law shall forfeit and pay, at the discretion of the Convictins Magistrate, or Justice of the Peace, a penalty as follows:- 1S! . offence - $99.00 2nd offence - $132.00 3rd offence - $264.00 maximum fine - $1000.00 and costs for such offence and, in default of payment of the said penalty and costs forthwith, the Convicting Magistrate or Justice of the Peace <!-- image --> <!-- image --> DONE AND PASSED in Council assembled at th Town of Grandview, in Manitoba, this\_13 day of wavenior A.D. 2001.
