Rural Snow Removal
Effective Date: August 10, 2016
Resolution No 2016-237
Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to outline the process for rural snow clearing
Procedure:
1. Priority Roads
a. Physician roads
b. Ambulance personnel roads (PW Manager to obtain list in January of each
year)
c. Homecare patient roads (PW Manager to obtain list in January of each
year)
d. Road to Sugarloaf water plant
2. Snow clearing on other roads to be done at the discretion of the PW Manager
3. Overtime for snow clearing at the discretion of the PW Manager when there is a
heavy snowfall or blowing snow.
