TOWN OF LYNN LAKE RAFFLE LICENSING RULES AND
REGULATIONS
RAFFLE LICENSING
1. The Town of Lynn Lake may only issue raffle licenses to religious and charitable
organizations.
2. Raffle licenses must be purchased at least 2 days in advance.
3. Each ticket must not be sold for more than $2.00.
4. Total prizes for each raffle cannot exceed $3,000.00.
Raffle licenses for raffles that do not fall within these guidelines can be obtained directly
from Liquor and Gaming Authority of Manitoba (LGA).

FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Financial Statements must be submitted within 5 business days after the raffle is held.
Organizations who submit their financial statements after this period will be placed on a
30-day probation and will not be allowed to sign-up and be issued any raffle licenses until
the probationary period is over.
SCHEDULING
- Sign-up sheet is available at the Town Office.
- Organizations are limited to one fundraiser a month unless there is an opening
Thursday morning of that week. Call us to find out.
- Raffle licenses must be purchased at least 2 days in advance (Wednesday of each
week for 50/50 draws held on Fridays at the Lynn Inn) Another organization could
take your spot if the license is not purchased within this timeframe.
- Sign-up sheet for the following month will be posted one week before the new
month begins and will be on a first come first serve basis.
