PURPOSE
It is the purpose of this policy to outline the procedure for sharing with all LUDs in the
Municipality of Louise the revenue received from senior levels of Government and the Taxes
added and cancelled which relate to properties within the boundaries of an LUD.
POLICY STATEMENT
It is the policy of the Municipality to ensure that the senior Government Funds and any
supplementary taxes which may be received are administered in a consistent and fair manner.
PROCEDURE
1. Upon receipt of supplementary and cancelled taxes relating to a property within the
boundaries of the LUDs, administration will earmark 100% of the supplementary and
cancelled taxes to each specific LUD
2. Upon receipt of the Gas Tax Funds, the Municipality of Louise will split the funds
with all LUDs, At-Large based on a per capita basis.
