PURPOSE
The purpose of this policy is to provide formal recognition of the service of Council members
upon resignation, retirement or completion of service.
POLICY STATEMENT
The policy applies to all Council members who have served on the Municipality of Louise
council for a minimum of 1 (one) term.
PROCEDURE
The Municipality of Louise Council will issue the following:
1. A gift bearing the municipal crest indicating the dates of service.
2. A certificate of service will be issued to Council members who have served as Reeve of
the Municipality of Louise including the dates of service as Reeve.
3. In general, the Municipality of Louise will issue a certificate of service which includes
date of service to eligible former Council members upon request.
