## RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF THOMPSON BY-LAW 13-2024
## BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND THE R.M. OF THOMPSON UNSIGHTLY PROPERTY BY-LAW NO.7-15
WHEREAS Section 147 (1) of The Municipal Act, provides council the power to amend a By-law;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Municipality of Thompson, in meeting duly assembled, enacts as follows:
That the RM of Thompson Unsightly Property By-law No. 7-15, be amended so that:
## Definition (I) "noise nuisance" be changed
FROM: means any loud, unnecessary or unusual sound or any sound whatsoever which annoys, disturbs, injures, endangers or distracts from the comfort, repose, health, peace and /or safety of any reasonable person as determined by an officer.
TO: means any loud, unnecessary or unusual sound that creates substantial or unreasonable interference to enjoyment of property of any reasonable person as determined by an officer.
DONE AND PASSED by the Council of the R.M of Thompson, in session duly assembled at the Village of Miami, this 14th day of November.
