# Drainage Policy
The Purpose for having a Drainage Policy
To ensure that any work conducted within the Municipal Right of Way for the purpose of a drainage improvement is:
* Designed and constructed to be safe for vehicular traffic;
* Constructed so as to not be of a nuisance for the municipality or adjacent/affected landowners; and,
* Conforms to provincial legislation and municipal bylaws.
