## TOWN OF STEINBACH ## By-Law Number 1194 BEING A BY-LAW of the Town of Steinbach to regulate and control the public nuisance grounds of the Town of Steinbach. WHEREAS under the provisions of Section 345 of The Mue perationane grouydestablish, regulate and control AND WHEREAS the Town of Steinbach owns and operates a nuisance ground; AND WHEREAS the Town of Steinbach deems it expedient that rules and regulations be established regarding the operation of the nuisance ground; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Town of Steinbach enacts as follows: ## A. NUISANCE GROUNDS authorized and adopted for toe use and and out the toare hereby Steinbach nuisance grounds:- - (a) The grounds shall be fenced and a gate shal e maintained thereon which shal. be kept - (c) Signs shall be placed at the entrance to the offect that only authorized dumping will be allowed. - (e) A proper driveway shall be established from the gate of the nuisance ground to the dump area with a suitable turn-around, which shall be bounded by a line fence or other designation, with signs directing in and out and the driveway shall be maintained in a reasonable condition - (d) Unless otherwise authorized by Council no burning shall be permitted and anyone convicted of lighting fires shall be subject to penalties set out in Section B hereof. - f) Dumping of dead animal carcasses of any nature or shape is prohibited except under specific authorization of the Town of Steinbach. - No dumping of oil hydrocarbons shall be permitela on the - (8) lo person shall trespass or be on the nuisanc round except on authorized business or t place refuse - The dumping of the contents of septic tank. r other human waste in the nuisance groun is forbidden. - No person shall remove material of any nature - shall be establised from the to anne ground - (1) An earth covering program shall be instituted whereby the refuse is covered with suitable earth fill, when available. i ## B. PENALTIES any person who contravenes, or refuses, fails, reglects or omits to obserye or comply with any provision of this Is guilty of an ofience and is liable, on convíction thereof, to a fine of not more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) case of non-payment of the fine is liable, in the discretion of the convieting Judge or Justice or the steinrach in a correctional institution in, or used by or Judicial District in Manitoba for not more than thirty (30) days. This by-law shall take effect from the date of the final passage thereof.
