## BY-LAW NO. 24-03 ANIMAL CONTROL BYLAW
## 1. TITLE
This by-law shall be referred to as the "Animal control by-law".
## 2. PURPOSE
Pursuant to the authority vested in it by the Local Governance Act, R.S.N.B 2017, c. 18 and its amendments, the municipal council of Alnwick assembled enacts as follows:
## 3. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1. New Brunswick regulation 2022-36 under the Local Governance Act
2. By-law enforcement officers and/or NBSPCA are those officials appointed and designated for the enforcement of this by-law.
## 4. RELATED TOOLS AND DOCUMENTS
This by-law must be read and enforced in conjunction with, but not limited to the following documents:
- a. Local Governance Act, its amendments and regulations
- c. Provincial Offences Procedures Act
- b. SPCA Act
## Effective date
This By-Law comes into force on being passed by Council.
