## MUNICIPAL BY-LAW NO. DRA-11-2017
## VILLAGE OF BELLEDUNE BY-LAW DESIGNATING ROADS ACCESSIBLE TO OFF-ROAD VEHICLES.
Pursuant to the powers conferred by the Off-Road Vehicle Act, S.N.B. 1985, c. O-1.5 and its amendments, the Council of the Village of Belledune duly assembled enacts as follows:
## Definitions:
- "Off-Road Vehicle" has the same meaning as defined in the Off-Road Vehicle Act.
## General provisions:
2. No person shall drive an Off-Road Vehicle on the Mutton Lane, Archibald Road, Mitchell Road, and Colony Road, other than at the locations designated for this purpose and as further set out below and on a map attached to this By-Law as Schedule "A". (Full map)
2. Off-Road Vehicle shall only be driven on the road of the Mutton Lane designated as municipal jurisdiction for a distance of 2.3 km and further set out on the map attached to this By-Law as Schedule "B".
3. Off-Road Vehicle shall only be driven on the road of Mitchell Road designated as municipal jurisdiction for a distance of 579 meters and further set out on the map attached to this by-law as Schedule B.
4. Off-Road Vehicle shall only be driven on the road of Colony Road designated as municipal jurisdiction, for a distance of 10.74 km and further set out on a map attached to this by-law as Schedule C.
5. Off-Road Vehicle shall only be driven on the road of Archibald Road designated as municipal jurisdictions for a distance of 3.9 km and further set out on a map attached to this by-law as Schedule "D".
6. No person shall ride on the travel portion of Mutton Lane, Archibald Road, Mitchell Road and Colony Road with an Off-Road Vehicle at a location which is not designated to that effect.
7. The driver or any occupant of the Off-Road Vehicle shall be properly wearing a helmet that complies with the standards prescribed by Regulations under the Motor Vehicle Act.
8. The Off-Road Vehicle shall be outfitted with the necessary equipment as described in Section 22 and Section 23 of the Off-Road Vehicle Act.
10. Off-Road Vehicle shall operate in the same direction as traffic and travel in a single file to the extreme right of the road.

11. Off-Road Vehicle drivers shall give the appropriate signals as required under the Motor Vehicle Act and obey all traffic control devices.
12. Off-Road Vehicle drivers shall give the right of way to all other vehicles utilizing the roadway.
## Offence:
- Any person who violates sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12 of this By-Law is guilty of an offence and is liable upon summary conviction to a fine of $100.00.
## Coming into force:
14. This By-Law comes into force upon the approval of the Minister as defined under the Off-Road Vehicle Act.
