## VILLAGE OF DOAKTOWN ## By-Law No. 99-1 Relating to the Prevention of Excessive Noise - No person shall make or permit to be made any noise likely to cause a public disturbance or otherwise disturb the inhabitants of the Village of Doaktown. 2. Without restricting the generality of Section 1, a noise likely to cause a public disturbance or otherwise disturb the inhabitants of the Village of Doaktown, shall be deemed to be any noise or sounds of such volume or of such nature as to cause annoyance to residents of the Village including shouting, singing, whistling, music, motor vehicles and animal noises. - This By-Law does not apply to snow removal equipment and authorized emergency vehicles or other emergency equipment. 4. Any person who violates this By-Law is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine in the range set out for category "C" offences in Section 56 (3) of the Provincial Offences Procedure Act, S.N.B., Chapter P-22.1 and amendments thereto as authorized by Section 100 of the Municipalities Act S.N.B., Chapter M-22, and amendments thereto. - Any owner of property from which any noise likely to cause a public disturbance or otherwise disturb the inhabitants of the Village of Doaktown is deemed to have violated this By-Law and is guilty of an offence and liable to a fine in the range set out for category "C" offences in Section 56(3) of the Provincial Offences Procedure Act, S.N.B., Chapter P-22.1 and amendments thereto as authorized by Section 100 of the Municipalities Act, S.N.B., Chapter M-22, and amendments thereto.
