## BY - LAW NO. 37 ## BY-LAW RESPECTING DISTURBANCE BY NOISE Pursuant to the authority of Section 11 (1) (1) 06 The Municipalities Act, BE IT ENACTED BY the council of the Town of St. George as follows: 1. No person shall make or permit to be made any noise within the Town of St. George likely to cause a public nuisance or otherwise disturb the inhabitants of the Town. 2. Without restricting the generality of Section 1, a noise likely to cause a public nuisance or otherwise disturb the inhabitants shall be deemed to be any noise or sounds of such volume or of such nature as te cause annoyance to residents of the Town including shouting, singing, whistling, music, , motor vehicles (including motorcycles and motor bikes), snoumobiles, pneumatic hammers, construction equipment and machinery and animal noises. 3. This By-law shall not apply to pneumatic hammers, construction equipment and machinery, vehicles of business and trade between the hours of six o'clock in the forenoon and nine o'clock in the afternoon from Monday to Saturday, inclusive, or to snow removal and emergency equipment at any time. 4.
