Any person designated by the City as a peace officer including any police officer is also a By-law Enforcement Officer for the purposes of this by-law; 2. The dry wood must have been dried for at least six (6) months; - f) "yard" means a space in relation to any building, structure or use on a lot and a lot line; 12. EXIGENCES - "flankage yard" means the side yard of a corner lot that abuts a street; - k) "garbage" means all solid, semisolid and liquid waste generated from residential, commercial, industrial or other sources, including trash, refuse, rubbish, industrial waste, asphaltic products, manure, vegetable or animal waste and other similar rubbish; - 1) "pellet fuel" means a small cylindrical particle created by compressing wood residue for use as fuel for pellet appliances - m) "nuisance" means the emission into the atmosphere of smoke by any means, which disturbs the comfort or enjoyment of properties or the people in the neighbourhood; - n) "Pellet fuel bin" means a large capacity reservoir used to stock pellet fuel. ## 2. - d) standards in · this by-law are applicable if the appliance or the pellet appliance is installed in an accessory building; - e) the height of the appliance, the pellet appliance or the building in which it is housed shall not exceed 5 m (16 ft. 4 in.); PERMIS ET APPROBATIONS ## 3. P-22.1, as a Category C offence. ## 6 REPEAL The By-Law No. 34.1 - By-Law regarding Edmundston protection for outdoor burning appliances, adopted on March 15'h 2011, is hereby repealed.
