UN ARRÊTÉ CONCERNANT LES SERVICES
D'EAU ET D'ÈGOUT DE GRAND-SAULT
Attendu que la province du Nouveau-
Brunswick a procédé avec Pamalgamation des
comfiïunautés de Grand-Sault; Dn-unïnoad et
de Saint-Andté ainsi que le distdct de sendces
locaux de Grand-Sault et une partie du distdct
de services locaux de Drumraond en vigueur le
1er janvier 2023;
Attendu que la tcansition à la nouvelle
municipalité régionale de Gïand-Sault exige
Padoption de nouveaux arrêtés, incluant un.
arcêté sur les serdces d'eau et d'égout;
Attendu que les gouvernements locaux de
Grand-Sault, Dmoamond et de Samt-Andcé
ont adopté un arrêté sur le service d'eau et
d'égout et que la section de ces arrêtés
concernant la facturation doit être modifiée
afîû de pouvoir procéder à la facturation pour
2023;
Par conséquent, le conseil de la nouvelle
municipalité ïégionale de Grand-Sault adopte
ce qm suit :
l. Dorénavant, la facturation pour le
seryice d'eau et d'égout dans la
municipalité régionale de Grand-
Sault sera faite de la façon
suivante :
a) La somme exigée sera due et payable le
dernier jour de chaque mois.
b) Dans tous les cas ou une somme
quelconque est en souffrance (par
exemple : un tarif, une redevance, un
frais d'usager, frais de raccoïdemeat,
de location ou de pénalité imposé ou
autre);, h municipali.té régionale de
Graad-Sault devra alors additionner un
fcais d'intérêt pout défaut de paiement
se chiffrant à 1,5% par mois ou 18%
par année.
e) Toute somme due pat ces présentes
sont dues mensueUement. La
Municipalité ne sera responsable que
pout Pémission d'un état de compte
trimestdel.
A BY-LAW RESPECTING WATER AND SEWER
SERVICES FOR GRAND FALLS
Whereas the Province of New Bruaswick
amalgamated the cominmuties of Grand Falls,
Drummond and Saiat-Aûdïé as well as the
Grand Falls Local Service District and part of
the Drummond Local Service Distdct effective
January lst, 2023;
Whereas the tiransition. to the new Grand FaUs
Régional MunicipaUty requîtes the adoption of
new by-laws, iaclucUng a wateï and sewer
services by-law;
Whereas the local govemraents of Grand FaUs,
Drummond and Saiat-Aadré have adopted a
water and sewer services by-law and the biUing
section of thèse by-laws must be amended m
order to proceed with bffliag for 2023;
Accordiagly, council for the ne-w Grand FaUs
Régional MunicipaHty adopts the following:

From now on, biUiag for water and
sewer services in. the Grand FaUs
Régional MximdpaUty wiJl be raade as
foUows:
The amount required shall be due and
payable on the last day ofeach moath.
In all cases where any araouat is
overdue (for example: water rates,
seryice connection fee, tentai, penalties
or other), the Grand Falls Régional
Municipality must thea add an interest
charge for aon-payment amountmg to
1.5% per month of 18% per year.
Any suras due hereunder shaU be due
monthly. The MunicipaUty wiU only
be respoasible for issuiag a quatteriy
statemeat of account.

2. Les aïtêtés existants des
gouvernements locaux de Grand-Sault,
Drummoûd et de Saiat-Andïé
coûtmueront de s'appUquer mutatis
mutandis, sauf pouï les sections ou l'on
tocaite des modalités de facturatioû et
des états de compte.
3. Genre et nombre
Les règles qui suivent s appliquent à
l'ensemble des arrêtés :
a) La forme masculine utUisée dans le
présent arrêté désigne aussi bien les
femmes, les hommes et les personnes
non-binaires. Le genre masculia est
utilisé sans aucune discritniaaùon dans
le but d'alléger le texte.
b) Le pluriel ou. le singulier s'appHquent
également à Puflité ou à h pluralité.
4. Date d'entrée en visueuï
Cet arïêté entre en vigueut le jour de
son adoption.
Il est par conséquent édicté tel qu'adopté par le
conseil municipal de Grand-Sault au Nouveau-
Brunswick.

3. Gender and amnber
The followiûg rules apply to aU by-
laws:
(a) The masculine form is used in this by-
law to designate -womea, mea, aad
non-bmary people. The masculine
geader is used without any
discrunination to lighten the text.
(b) The plural or smgulaï also appHes to
unity or pluïality.
4. Effective Date
This by-kw shaU. come into force où
the day ofits enactmeat.
Therefore, be it enacted as adopted by the
council of the municipaB.ty of Grand FaUs,
New Brunswick.
