## Policy #2023-01 ## Dog Waste Policy ## 1. Policy Objective: To provide a policy regarding the responsibility of dog owners for the immediate collection and proper disposal of feces from their animal(s) on any public or private property, other than their own, within Hanwell Rural Community. ## 2. Policy Statement: - a. Hanwell Rural Community Council directs the operations of the municipality through its approved by-laws and policies. The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines for the control of dog waste in the municipality. Dog feces is a contaminant that can contain toxins which pose potential health - b.
