## By-Law No. 25-2022 A By-Law to Regulate the Use of Parking Within the Rural Community of Hanwell
Pursuant to subsection 10(2) of the Local Governance Act, SNB 2017, c. 18, amendments thereto and regulations adopted thereunder, the Council of the rural community of Hanwell hereby enacts as follows:
## 1. TITLE
This By-Law may be referred to as the "Parking By-Law".
## 2. DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of this By-Law:
"Hanwell" means the Rural Community of Hanwell
"Motor Vehicle" or "Vehicle" means every motorized vehicle that is self-propelled, including trucks, cars, motorcycles, mopeds, go-carts, minibikes, all-terrain vehicles, utility vehicles, and snowmobiles (other than for grooming trails)
"Parked" means that the vehicle is unattended and not in an operational (running) state.
"Hanwell Staff" means the Clerk and/or members of staff of the Rural Community of Hanwell, that report to the Clerk.
## 3. GENERAL
## Nature Park Drive
- No person shall park any vehicle on the paved surface or gravel shoulder of Nature Park Drive, unless authorized for temporarily loading or unloading at the trail head entrance.
## Camber Drive, near Brookdale Park
- No person shall park any vehicle on the north side (the side of the road that is opposite to the park) within 200 meters of the park, on the paved surface or the shoulder, at any time there is a sport or event taking place in Brookdale Park.
## Milky Way Drive
- No person shall park any vehicle on the lake side (the side of the road that is opposite to the park) within 200 meters of the park, on the paved surface or the shoulder, at any time.
## 4. ENFORCEMENT
Any person who violates any provision of this By-Law and is guilty of an offence will be provided a warning or a fine for the offence, issued by Hanwell staff or an authorized by-law enforcement officer under Hanwell Fee Schedule Policy.
## 5. ENACTMENT
In case of any conflict between this By-Law and the Local Governance Act, the latter shall prevail.
This By-Law shall come into effect on the date of enactment there from:
