Policy #2023-06 Policy for Community Recognition
Policy Objective
For Harvey Rural Community Council to present Community recognition of birthday and
anniversary milestones for individuals of the Harvey Rural Community.
Policy Purpose
To formally recognize and celebrate community members on their milestones.
Policy Statement
The following milestones would be recognized:
a) Birthdays 90 and up in 5-year increments.
b) Anniversaries 50 and up in 5- year increments.
The options for any recognition are listed below
a) A certificate signed by the Mayor.
b) A presentation of the Certificate by Mayor or Council.
c) An announcement on the Municipal Website and Facebook page.
Recognitions can be requested by contacting the Municipality by phone or email OR by
completing an online form request on the Municipal website.
