Contractor Requirements
Harvey Rural Community
Policy No: 2025-01
Policy Statement
1. Harvey Rural Community requires companies to provide certifications regarding working and
operating safely in New Brunswick.
2. Prior to the start of any contracted project with Harvey Rural Community, the companies shall
supply Harvey Rural Community with the following documentation:
2.1. WorkSafeNB registration certification.
2.2. Certificate of Insurance for minimum liability of two million dollars CAN ($2,000,000,00) in
some circumstances additional liability insurance may be required.
3. Companies that do not provide the above-mentioned documentation prior to the start of a
contracted project will not be allowed to start work for Harvey Rural Community.
4. Companies can provide the documentation on a yearly basis to Harvey Rural Community or can
provide it prior to the start of a contract with Harvey Rural Community.
5. Harvey Rural Community does not take responsibility for the company's on-site protocols and
procedures as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act of the Province of New Brunswick. It is
the responsibility of the company to ensure they are following all regulations and Acts of the
Province of New Brunswick.
