- <!-- image --> ## BY-LAW NO. 24-05: SNOWMOBILE BY-LAW ## A BY-LAW DESIGNATING PORTIONS OF ROADS WITHIN THE NASHWAAK RURAL COMMUNITY ACCESSIBLE TO SNOWMOBILES BE IT ENACTED by the Council of the Nashwaak Rural Community, pursuant to the authority granted under the Off-Road Vehicle Act, S.N.B. 1985, c.-0-1.5 and its amendments. ## Definitions: 1. "Snowmobile" means all vehicles included in the definition of "motorized snow vehicle" as defined in the Off-Road Vehicle Act. ## General Provisions: 2. Snowmobiles may access the following roads within the Nashwaak Rural Community during the winter season: - Giants Glen Road (within former Village of Stanley limits) - Bridge Street 4. Main Street (from Bridge Street to Centennial Street) - Centennial Street - Mick Road 3. The person operating a snowmobile must bring the vehicle to a complete stop before entering upon the travelled portion of the roadway. 4. Snowmobiles must adhere to a speed limit of 30 km/h on all designated roadways. 5. Operation of snowmobiles is permitted between the hours of 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM during the snowmobile season, from November 15 to April 15. 6. Snowmobile drivers must hold a valid driver's licence and carry proof of insurance as required by provincial regulations. This is to certify that By-law No. 24-08, "Snowmobile By-law," has been enacted by the Council of the Nashwaak Rural Community and that the readings of said by-law were completed on the following dates: - First Reading: \_ November 20 2024. - Second Reading: November 20 2024 - Third Reading: December 18 2024 This By-law shall come into full force and take effect, and be binding on all persons as of and from the date filed at the Registry Office.
