The Summer Day Camp program will operate for a minimum of eight to a maximum of ten weeks during the summer months for children ages 6 - 12 years. Children aged 5 will be accepted into the program provided they will be entering grade one in the Fall of the following school year and will be turning 6 no later than December 31st of that calendar year. The maximum number of registrations will be 36 children per week (exceptions may be made for sibling campers up to a maximum of 37 children).
The Summer Day Camp program will operate out of the New Maryland Elementary School or the New Maryland Centre from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday with supervision from 7:45 am - 5:30 pm. The location of the Summer Day Camp Program will be based on the Anglophone School District's West cleaning schedule; however, typically the first week and last one or two weeks are held at the New Maryland Centre.
The following fees are for the entire Summer Day Camp Program for residents and non-residents of the Village of New Maryland.
## FEE STRUCTURE
- $130 per week per child (ages 6 through 12 inclusive) - "Early Bird Discount" applies until the end of the third week of June or the Friday prior to the start of Day Camp.
- $150 per week per child once Day Camp begins.
- The Canada Day "holiday" (4-day week) will be charged a reduced rate of $105 / $125 per week; one "older kids" camp (ages 10-13) will be offered August 6-9 at a cost of $115 / $135 for the week.
- Registration runs from early May until the commencement of Day Camp; campers will be allowed to register for unlimited weeks of camp as long as spaces are available.
- The commencement date and start times of each Summer Day Camp week shall be made known to all applicants at the time of registration.
- All applicable taxes are included.
- All cheques may be made payable to the Village of New Maryland at the time of registration. No postdated cheques will be accepted.

## CANCELLATION LIST
The Village will accept up to three (3) names for a cancellation list for each week of camp.
## REFUNDS
Refunds will only be considered when a participant must withdraw from the program on medical grounds. Requests must be accompanied by the original receipt that was obtained by the participant during registration.
Refunds will be issued by the Village Treasurer for the Summer Day Camp Program upon the recommendation of the Recreation Coordinator.
## NOTE
Paid participants, up to the start of the Summer Day Camp Program or up to the start of the Summer Day Camp Program week for which the participant is registered, who are not eligible for a refund may transfer weeks provided there is space available.
