# Municipal Plans
These documents help guide decisions on development, recreation and more.
Quispamsis Town Council and staff make decisions every day which can impact the future of the community in a variety of ways.
Many of those decisions are made in alignment with municipal plans. These documents are often developed by staff working with consultants and considering public input.
Municipal plans create an overall strategy to manage an ever-changing and growing community. These are public documents and are available for download.
Active Transportation Plan
The Active Transportation Plan brings together initiatives and promotions of street and trail networks throughout the town that are accessible by walking, cycling, transit, and other human modes of transportation.
Asset Management Plan
The Town of Quispamsis Asset Management Plan was developed in 2018 as part of a plan to improve asset management practices within the community.
As part of the plan, Town staff created an Asset Management Policy, an Asset Management Strategy, an Asset Hierarchy and a State of Infrastructure update.
Community Strategic Plan
The Community Strategic Plan was developed to help guide all decision-making in the Town of Quispamsis recognizing the needs, goals and desires of the community and our residents today and in the future.
Housing Action Strategy
The town of Quispamsis believes that all residents should have access to appropriate and affordable housing options.
With a steadily growing population and accompanying economic development, the town faces new challenges and opportunities in the housing sector.
To address these, we developed a comprehensive Housing Action Strategy to understand the current situation and anticipate future demands for housing in our community.
Municipal Development Plan
The Municipal Development Plan is a comprehensive policy document for the management of development within the Town of Quispamsis.
An update to the Municipal Development Plan is expected in 2026.
Recreation Master Plan
The Recreation Master Plan allows the Town to guide and manage the direction of parks, trails, recreation programs, facilities and amenities in the 2030s.
