Town of Baie Verte - Animal Regulations
On May 8, 2003, the Town of Baie Verte implemented these following
Animal Regulations:
From and after the date of the passing of these regulations, no
person shall allow any animal to be at large in the Town of Baie
Verte and any animals running at large shall be liable to be
captured as hereinafter provided.
If any animal shall cause damage to any lawn, grass plot garden,
flower bed, flower, shrub, plant or personal property of another
resident, such animal shall be deemed to be a nuisance and the
owner thereof shall be deemed to have committed an offence in
terms of these regulations.
If any animal in any manner disturbs the peace or constitutes an
annoyance to residents in the neighborhood, such animal shall be
deemed to be a nuisance and the owner thereof shall be deemed
to have committed an offence in terms of these regulations.
The impounder may seize, capture or impound any animal found
running at large to these regulations about which a complaint has
been made, and enter any premises for the purpose of capturing
any animal.
These regulations apply to both CATS and DOGS.
