## 1. Title This document will be known and cited as the Development Regulations By-Law. ## 2. Purpose Pursuant to Section 7 (1) (c) of the Towns and Local Service District Act, the Centreville-Wareham-Trinity Town Council enacts this Bylaw to control and regulate the design, construction, alteration, reconstruction, demolition, removal, relocation, and maintenance of buildings and classes of buildings, as well as establishing minimum lot sizes and occupancy standards established in the Town's Municipal Plan and Development Regulations. ## 3. Application This by-law applies to all members of the public, including council. ## 4. By-Law Statement In accordance with Section 7(1) (c)of the Towns and Local Service Districts Act, the Municipal Plan and Development Regulations, and Occupancy and Maintenance Regulations shall be used to control and respect the design, construction, alteration, reconstruction, minimum lot size and occupancy of buildings and classes of buildings and the demolition, removal and relocation and maintenance of buildings. ## 5. Construction Codes Through adoption of this Development Regulations By-law, and in accordance with Section 7 (3) (A) of the Towns and Local Service Districts Act, the town adopts with following any supplements or amendments to that code: - a. National Building Code of Canada 2020 - b. National Energy Code of Canada 2020 - c. National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings 2020 ## 6. Amendments  ## TOWN OF CENTREVILLE-WAREHAM-TRINITY Development Regulations By-Law This by-law may be amended by the Centreville-Wareham-Trinity Town Council as necessary to adapt to changing circumstances or to enhance regulatory effectiveness. ## 7. Effective Date This by-law shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Centreville-WarehamTrinity Town Council.
