The following Regulations have been made by the Iown Council of Channel - Port aux Basques under the provisions of the Local Government Act, 1966, and were approved by me on the litt day of March, A.D., 1969.

## REGULATIONS
1. In these Regulations unless the context otherInterpretations: wise requires:
2. (a) "Act" shall mean the Iocal Government Act, 1966.
3. (b) "Council" shall mean the lown Council of the Iown of Channel Port aux Basques.
4. (C) "Iown" shall mean the Town of Channel - Port aux Basques as defined by paragraph 2 of Order-in-Council dated the 12th day of December, A.D., 1950, and made under the said Act.
5. (d) "Animal" means any domestic animal but shall not be held to mean dogs and cats.
2. From and after the date of the passing of these Regulations no live animal shall be kept within the Town, except with the permission of Council in writing.
3. Every person who neglects, contravenes or fails to comply with any provision of these regulations shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding One Hundred Dollars or in default of payment of such fine te imprisonment for a period not exceeding ninety days, or to both such fine and imprisonment.
4. These Regulations shall come into effect on the A.Do, 1969 and may be cited as the Iown of Channel - Port aux Basques (Prohibiting of Animals) Regulations, 1969. day of March,
