Resolution to Approve
Town of Elliston Development Regulations
2018 - 2028
Under the authority of Section 16. Section 17. and Section 18 of the Urhan and Rural Pla1111i11R Act 2000, the
Town Council of Elliston
(a) Adopted Elliston Development Regulations Amendment No. I on the 5-h day of February 2020.
(b) Gave notice of the adoption of Elliston Development Regulations Amendment No. I by advertisement inserted in
the Packet newspaper on the 19°1 day and the 26'" day of February 2020.
(c) Set the 5°
1 day of March 2020 at the Town I I all. Elliston for the holding ofn public hearing to consider objections
and submissions.

DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS AMENDMENT No. 1, 2019
BACKGROUND
Amendment No. l to the Elliston Development Regulations is proposed in order to comply with Amendment No.
l to the Elliston Municipal Plan. It is proposed to transfer "crop agriculture" from a Permitted Use to a
Discretionary Use in the Rural Use Zone Table.

The Elliston Development Regulations are amended as follows:
I.
Section 9.10 - Rural Use Zone Table
Transfer "crop agriculture" from the Permitted Use Classes to the Discretionary Use Classes.
