Resolution Number: 2025-08-11-209
## Objective:
Pursuant to Section 7(1) (c) of the Towns and Local Service District Act, the Council of the Town of Gambo enacts this by-law to control and regulate the design, construction, alteration, reconstruction, demolition, removal, relocation, and maintenance of buildings and classes of buildings, as well as establishing minimum lot sizes and occupancy standards established in the Town's Municipal Plan and Development Regulations.
## Scope:
This by-law applies to all members of the public, including Council.
## Construction Codes:
Through adoption of this by-law, and in accordance with Section 7(3) (a) of the Towns and Local Service Districts Act, the Town of Gambo adopts with the following any supplements or amendments to that code:
- a. National Building Code of Canada 2020
- b. National Energy Code of Canada 2020
- c. National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings 2020
## Amendments:
This by-law may be amended by the Town Council of the Town of Gambo as necessary to adapt to changing circumstances or to enhance regulatory effectiveness.
## Reservations or Rights:
The Town of Gambo reserves the right to change, modify or cancel this by-law at any time as it deems necessary.
