Thank you Garnish for the warm welcome you give the out of town boys working in your beautiful town. The one thing I miss most of all about Garnish are the people.

We saw more of Garnish and the Burin Peninsula than we had seen 41 years ago. I loved our walks at Winterland Trail, Frenchman's Cove, the trail we walked in Marystown, Salts Pond, and the beach outside of Garnish where you walked my legs off! We enjoyed every conversation and had some good laughs.

Thank-you to the town of Garnish for Honouring those soldiers who lived in the town of Garnish. Who are presently serving or retired from the Canadian Armed Forces, and served overseas in Afganistan. It was a nice gesture and kind thaughts. It was warm to my heart. Once again Thank you for those kind thaughts.
