## PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY Pursuant to the power conferred by section yi4 of The Municipalities Act, the Town Council of Labrador City has made the following regulations: <!-- image --> Astride Karl Hiscock, MAYOR ## PARKING REGULATIONS ## 1. Interpretations: In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires: - (a) "Town" means the Town of Labrador City as defined by - Order-in-Council dated the 27th day of June 1961, and any amendments thereto, according to the Municipalities Act.. - "Park" means to allow a motor vehicle to remain on a street in a stationary position whether or not the - (b) operator remains in control. 2. No person shall park a vehicle on any of the following streets in the Town on any day: Amherst Avenue Humber Avenue 3. No person shall park a vehicle on any street in the Town between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on any day. 4. Parking will be permitted on the following streets in the Town between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m.: - (1) West side of the following streets: Burry Avenue Cabot Crescent Caribou Crescent Carson Avenue Cartier Avenue Drake Avenue Elizabeth Avenue Gilbert Avenue Grenfell Crescent Howley Avenue Marconi Avenue Matthew Avenue Stirling Avenue Viking Crescent - ## Parking Regulations - (2) - North side of the following streets: - (37 South side of the following streets: Bartlett Drive Carol Drive Field Street Hudson Drive Osbourne street Roche Street Avalon Drive Baltimore Street Bristol Crescent Caribou Crescent Grenfell Crescent Guy Street Viking Crescent Cabot Crescent 5. Any person who violates any of the provisions of these Regulations shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a penalty not exceeding One Hundred Dollars, or in default of payment of such penalty to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months and shall, upon conviction of a first offence be liable to a penalty of not less than $10.00; for the second · offence not less than $25.00; and for the third office not less than $50.00. 6. Prosecution of these Regulations may be taken summarily by any police constable. 7. These Regulations were passed and adopted by Council on the 28th day of May 1981, and will come into effect on the 28th day of May 1981, and may be cited as the Town of Labrador City (Parking) Regulations, 1981.
