414 Pursuant to the power conferred by Section 154 of The Municipalities Act, the Town Council of Labrador City has made the following Regulations:

## WATER SUPPLY REGULATIONS
## 1. Interpretations:
In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires:
- (b) "Council" means the Town Council of the Town of Labrador City.
- (a) "Act" means the Municipalities Act, 1979. 1 99G., Shcp. 11
- (c) "Town" means the Town of Labrador City as defined by Order-in-Council dated the 27th day of June 1961, and any amendments thereto, according to the Municipalities Act.
- (d) "Vehicle" means vehicle as described in the Highways Traffic Act and includes any motorized snow vehicles and all-terrain vehicles.
2. No person shall spread stable or other manure, fish or fish offal, or discharge any wastes, garbage, or refuse on land situated less than two hundred and fifty (250) feet from the Town's water supply, when the drainage of the land is towards the said water supply, or any stream flowing into the said water supply.
- No person shall be permitted to cut timber or to erect any building or other structure on the watershed of the Town's water supply, except as may be otherwise approved by the Council.
4. No person shall be permitted to use the waters of the Town's water supply for recreational purposes such as skating, swimming, boating, paddling, or fishing.

5. No person shall dip, soak, or wash any article of clothing or any utensil or any vehicle in the waters of the Town's water supply.
6. No person shall drive a vehicle ór lead a horse, cattle, or other animal across the ice of a reservoir, lake, pond, or
3. stream used as or forming part of the Town's water supply.
7. No animal shall be watered or led or driven through a reservoir, lake, pond, or stream used as or forming part
5. of the Town's water supply.
8. No person shall throw or cause to be thrown into the waters of the Town's water supply the dead body of any animal, or drown and leave or cause to be drowned or left, any animal therein.
9. No person shall throw or cause to be thrown into the waters of the Town's water supply waste material of any kind.
10. Any person who violates any of the provisions of these Regulations shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one Hundred Dollars ($100.00), or in default of payment to imprisonment for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days.
11. These Regulations were passed and adopted by Council on the 19th day of March 1981, and will come into effect on the 19th day of March 1981, and may be cited as the Town
