During the period from the first (1st) day of December in each year to the first of April in the succeeding year, both days inclusive, no person shall park an unattended vehicle upon any street reservation within the Town between the hours of 12:00 midnight to 8:00 am. Definition of "Street Reservation"- the actual street itself as well as 10 feet from the edge of the pavement or curb. At any time during a snow storm and for twelve hours thereafter no person shall park an unattended vehicle upon any street reservation within the Town. No person shall leave a vehicle standing upon a street reservation in such a position that it may hinder or impede the ploughing of or removal of snow or ice from the thoroughfare. Any unattended vehicle parked on any street reservation within the Town in contravention of these regulations, may be removed and the cost of such removal be recovered from the owner as civil debt. No person shall shovel or plough any snow from a driveway or parking lot unto any street within the Town of Lawn. Any damage to property within the "Street Reservation" as a result of snow clearing operations is not the responsibility of the Town of Lawn. A person who contravenes these regulations is guilty of an offence and is liable to the penalties prescribed for such an offence in the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.N. 1970 C-152. Trusting your utmost cooperation, Lawn Town Council.
