## Purpose:
By-Law of the Town of Salmon Cove for the direction of senior staff and council regarding the Dog(s) Leash.
## Authority:
As per motion on the 4th day of February, in the year 2025.
## Motion 025-038
Motion to accept the By Law for Dog(s) Leash.
## By-Law:
- 1) The owner of all dogs shall keep them tethered or penned up at all times.
- 2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), a dog or dogs need not be tethered or penned up, where:
- a) It is held on a leash by a person capable of restraining its movements;
- b) It is being used by a person for the purpose of lawful hunting;
- d) It is kept or used for another purpose and under the conditions prescribed in the by-law.
- c) It is being used by a person to work in a lawful manner with sheep; or
This By-Law shall come into effect on the 4*h of February 2025.
