The purpose of the ameudment is to allow the development ofa new Salvation Army church on Highway 340. The. ~ite is located on the easl sitk of Highway 340 and has an area of approximately 0. 70 hectares. It abuts the north side of the Jim Penney Ltd. car dealership. Other nearby properties include the Norpen bus depot immediately south of Jim Penn~ Ltd. and a private residence on lhe west side of the highway opposite the bus depot. A new regional K-12 school has been approved for development 500 metres north of the site on tho opposite side of the highway. AMENQMSNT NO. 2 The Summerford Land Use Zoning.
