Abusive behaviors, whether verbal, psychological or physical, are also considered violence. More specifically: - Verbal abuse can be using unwelcome, embarrassing, offensive, threatening or degrading language. - Psychological abuse is an act which provokes fear or diminishes a person's dignity or self-esteem. - Sexual abuse is any unwelcome verbal or physical assault. We can't always predict violent acts, but we ask managers and team members to be vigilant. Report any concerns or violent acts as soon as possible. Examples of violent behavior among co workers include but are not limited to: - Intimidating or bullying others - Abusive language - Physical assault - Threatening behavior - Concealing or using a weapon - Sexual or racial harassment Anti-violence and Harassment #2026-01 Signed ![Share Button](https://static.hupso.com/share/buttons/share-medium.png) ![Share Button](https://static.hupso.com/share/buttons/share-medium.png) > https://www.facebook.com/townofannapolisroyal/ ### Quick Links Festivals and Events Restaurants and Dining Moving to Annapolis Royal Starting a Business Culture Recreation Business Directory Submit Your Event ### Newsletter Sign-Up Sign-up to receive our monthly newsletter Email address: Leave this field empty if you're human: ### CONTACT Town of Annapolis Royal 285 St. George Street, Box 310 Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia B0S 1A0 Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Phone: (902) 532-2043 [email protected] Copyright © 2026 Town of Annapolis Royal.
