TITLE
This Policy may be cited as the "Water Meter Policy" of the Municipality of the County of
Antigonish.
POLICY:
1.0
All new construction and existing buildings within the Municipality of the County of
Antigonish, where services are available, shall be required to have a water meter
installed prior to activation or delivery of any water to the premises.
2.0
Installation, ownership, use, and maintenance of water meters shall be in accordance
with the Schedule of Rules and Regulations outlined in the most recent decision by the
Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board for each individual water utility in the County.
