## TOWN OF BRIDGEWATER SANITARY SERVICE CONNECTION TO FORCE MAIN ON LAHAVE STREET Policy No. 17 Approval Date: April 9, 1990 Resolution No. 90-118 It shall be the policy of Town Council of the Town of Bridgewater that: Town Council prohibits the connection of any properties to sanitary sewerage force mains within the Town provided that the Council may permit a connection to said force mains only in the event that the property for which a connection is requested is: 1. an existing dwelling or business establishment; and 2. that sewage from the dwelling or business is currently being directly discharged into the LaHave River; and 3. that a permit for on-site sewage disposal system cannot be obtained from the Department of Health of Nova Scotia; and 4. the applicant for such a connection enters into an agreement with the Town by which the applicant, his heirs and assigns, shall release Town from any claims arising from the use of said connection.
