CAPEBRETONREGIONALMUNICIPALITY By-LawF1 DEEDTRANSFERTAX 1. ThisBy-Lawisentitled the "Deed Transfer TaxBy-Law". 2. ADeed Transfer TaxappliesintheCapeBreton Regional Municipality. 3. TherateofDeedTransfer TaxintheCapeBreton Regional Municipality is1.5% ofthevalueof theproperty transferred effective January 1, 2003. 4. TheRegistrar ofDeeds shallbetheagentandcollector oftheDeed Transfer TaxfortheCape Breton Regional Municipality inaccordance withtheagreement tothateffectbetween theCape Breton Regional Municipality andtheMinister ofService NovaScotia andMunicipal Relations. 5. Theformer F1Deed Transfer TaxBy-LawoftheCapeBreton Regional Municipality passed and adopted byCouncil on17October, 1995isrepealed andthisBy-Lawissubstituted initsplace.
