## DEED TRANSFER TAX BY-LAW
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Lockeport, under the authority of the Municipal Government Act of Nova Scotia, 1999 that the following By-law be enacted and that the Clerk/Treasurer forward a copy of it duly certified and sealed
BY-LAW NO. 2006 - 01
## BY-LAW TO AMEND THE DEED TRANSFER BY-LAW #26
- This By-Law is entitled the "Deed Transfer Tax By-Law".
2. A deed transfer tax applies in the Town of Lockeport.
3. The rate of the deed transfer tax in the Town of Lockeport is 1.5 percent of the value of the property transferred
4. By-Law #26 of the Town of Lockeport is repealed and this By-Law is substituted in its place.
