## Bylaw
1. This Bylaw is entitled the "Deed Transfer Tax Bylaw.
2. Effective on November 1, 2002, a deed transfer tax applies in the Town of Mahone Bay.
3. The rate of the deed transfer tax shall be set by resolution of Town Council at the annual budget meeting of Town Council.
4. The Registrar of Deeds shall be the agent and collector of the deed transfer tax for the Town of Mahone Bay in accordance with the agreement to that effect between the Town of Mahone Bay and the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations.
## Repeal
5. All previous Deed Transfer Tax Bylaws and any amendments hereto are hereby repealed.
## Effective Date
6. This Bylaw is effective upon publication.
