TOWN OF MULGRAVE NOTICE OF AMENDMENT TO LAND-USE BY-LAW #02 FOR THE TOWN OF MULGRAVE TAKE NOTICE THAT a meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Mulgrave was held at the Town Office, Mulgrave, Nova Scotia on the 16th day of June, 2025 and the following amendment to the Town of Mulgrave Land-Use By-Law was passed: THAT the Town of Mulgrave approve an amendment to the Land-Use By- Law to add Shipping Containers as a permitted use within Commercial Highway (C-2). Industrial General (M-1) and Industrial Heavy (M-2) Zones, subject to certain requirements. Shipping Container means a container originally designed for use as a means of storing and transporting cargo via ship, rail, air or truck Shipping Container Modified means a container originally designed for use as a means of storage and transporting cargo via ship, rail, air or truck that has been modified and/or updated and has been certified by a Professional Engineer for commercial or residential related uses. Any aggrieved person(s), the Director of Planning or the Council of any adjoining Municipality may appeal this decision by writing to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board within fourteen (14) days of the publishing of this notice. All information pertaining to this amendment may be made available at the Town Office, 459 Murray Street, Mulgrave. Dated at Mulgrave this 23rd day of June, 2025.
